Western Himalayas, 9th/10th Century
Finely cast standing on a double-lotus base with his right hand lowered in varada mudra and the left holding the tip of his robe, wearing a long flowing dhoti with elegant folds, his face with a benign expression and silver inlaid eyes, a small donor figure in adoration sits on the left of the base, with an attractive deep brown patina overall
