A Rare Bronze Shrine
Thailand, Lopburi, 13th Century
Very finely cast with both hands raised in abhaya mudra, standing on a separately cast stepped plinth with an openwork frieze of seated Buddhas and supported by Garudas, the separate backplate intricately cast with a stylized Bodhi tree and radiant flames forming an arch, covered with a silvery green patina overall
