IMPORTANT PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed on verso of front endpaper, "To dear Alfred from his affectionate Mama", initialled, and dated "Jan. 21 1869". Alfred Ernest Albert, Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1844-1900), was the second son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. With another related book. (2)
