manuscript on paper, one of two addorsed birds composed of minute naskh in red, black, brown and green, heightened with gold, wide blue border, the other similar of a pear hanging from a leafy branch, wide black border, both probably Persia, signed by Ahmad b. Muhammad Firouzi and 'Ali al-Shaharawi and dated AH 1365 and 1366 (1945-6 AD) respectively - average 12¾ x 22in. (32.5 x 56cm.) (2)
