the ivory field with scrolling arabesques and delicate floral vine around concentric rust-red medallion with palmette pendants containing similar smaller ivory centrepiece, open floral spandrels, in rust-red border of palmettes and floral arabesques between wide floral stripes, outer plain stripe, woven on silk worps approx. 10 x 9 knots per sq.cm. very good condition --226cm. x 152cm.(7ft.5in. x 5ft.)
