QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER MARK INCISED IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The figure shown huddled beneath his layered robes with his hands resting on one upraised knee, his face with contemplative expression, his outer robes very finely chased with two phoenixes amidst dense floral scroll, his inner robes chased with swirling clouds, the base incised, da Qing Qianlong nian zhi, Rehe xingguan chenshenchu, "Made during the Qianlong era of the great Qing, for display in the gallery at the Summer Palace at Rehe"
