The exterior of the deep bowl finely painted with a continuous scene of two officials in a fenced garden setting, one figure shown carrying a long sceptre and standing before a censer set on a natural wood table, the center of the interior painted with a circular medallion containing a scene of a solitary figure seated on a cliff looking out into the distance, all raised on a tall flared foot painted with swirling clouds, the base with apocryphal Chenghua mark
