An okubie-e (large-head portrait) on a dark silver mica ground of the actor in the play Hana-ayame Bunroku Soga, performed at the Miyako Theater in the fifth month of Kansei 6 (1794), signed Toshusai Sharaku ga and published by Tsutaya Juzaburo--very good impression, white mica on collar of robe, slightly faded, stains, left edge slightly trimmed, repaired tears, wear to mica at edges and rubbed opposite left ear, horizontal centerfold, pin hole worming, lightly backed
