Edo period (19th century), signed Koma Kansai saku and with kao (cursive monogram)
The slender inro decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e and takamaki-e on a kinji ground with shaped panels of birds and flowers, interior cases gyobu nashiji; fitted with a stag-antler pierce-carved ojime and Ryusa manju netsuke with a Chinese lion on a ball and lotus with waves
