Edo-Meiji period (19th century), signed Kansai saku (Koma Kansai II)
The large inro designed in gold, silver, black and red takamaki-e and kirigane with Yoko, one of the Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety rendered in various soft metals, the reverse with the snarling tiger in a bamboo grove, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a coral bead ojime and a metal gourd netsuke and spoon, cast with flowers, vines and Chinese characters
