The oval inro designed in gold, black and red takamaki-e and gold hiramaki-e with hirame and kirigane with an eagle resting on a pine branch above a waterfall, the reverse with a pair of small birds in flight, all on a kinji ground; interior cases nashiji; fitted with a green bead ojime and an ivory netsuke of a Chinese lion on a ball
