Configuration hira-zukuri with iori-mune back and saki-zori curvature, the horimono a Buddhist ken on the omote side and futatsuji-hi on the ura side; forging pattern running itame with gunome midare tempered edge and midare-komi tip; tang unshortened with three mekugi-ana; in wood storage scabbard

With a certificate issued by the Nihon Token Hozon Kai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Sword), dated 1997.10.12
