The first two blades curved with indistinct forging patterns and suguha tempered edge and both carved with naginata-hi ni tsure-hi and with long tapering tangs with one mekugi-ana; the third small, of triangular section and carved with naginata-hi on the widest side, tang shortened with one mekugi-ana; all mounted on pole-arms
