Two Powder Flasks and an Inlaid Sword Case**
Edo period (18th-19th century)
The first flask gourd-shaped and decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearl and fitted with a heavy ivory manju netsuke and a doe-skin bag containing metal shot; the second flask black leather with a copper spout and decorated on the sides with a family crest in gold lacquer; the sword case for a short sword (wakizashi) and decorated all over with inlaid mother-of-pearl
