The ken blade forged with a masame-itame pattern with a gunome tempered edge carved on the omote side with a long central groove and on the ura side with futatsuji-hi; tang unshortened with higaki file marks and two mekugi-ana and an old one now plugged
Koshirae comprising a cane scabbard with horn fittings, the tsuba shibuichi with vines inlaid in soft metals and the hilt with a shakudo nanako fuchi with morning glories in soft-metal inlays
