Koshirae comprising a red and black ishime lacquer scabbard; the hilt with shakudo fuchi-gashira with gilt-inlays of scrolling vines and Chinese lion menuki; iron plate tsuba with panels of shakudo Chinese lions, waterfalls and peonies in sunken-relief with gilt highlights, rimmed in silver
