CIRCA 1900, MARKED WITH PSEUDO-BINDENSCHILD IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
The cylindrical bodies heavily gilt and painted in colours, one dark blue-ground reserved with an oval cartouche depicting Callisto and Jupiter disguised as Diana, surrounded by gilt rocaille scrolls and panels containing trelliswork, the cover en suite connected to the loop handle with a crown thumbpiece, the other painted with the beautiful Helena surrounded by maidens within a rectangular cartouche, the cover depicting 'The Judgment of Paris' and the inside with a scene en suite, the metal mount en suite to the preceding
