With caned end and lotus-leaf scroll ornament to the side and end, with a reeded seat-rail, the hinged seat with a storage compartment beneath, on reeded tapered legs, brass caps and castors, with a striped canvas mattress and bolster in Howe linen canvas stripe, the hinges stamped 'JAMES'
