Each with plaited rush seat within open frame
29½ in. (75.5 cm.) high;
and a pair of bentwood open armchairs, manufactured by Fischel, Czechoslovakia, circa 1900, each with laminated seat - 28¾ in. (73 cm.) high (4)

Lot Essay

Known as 'Modello 115', this design of armchair with rush seat recalling Italian provincial chairs of the 19th Century was first designed for Cassina in 1964 (Ed. S. Bayley, The Conran Directory of Design, London, 1985, p.181).
