A COALPORT ASSEMBLED GARNITURE
The flowerpot painted in the London studio of Thomas Baxter, circa 1805
Comprised of a pair of paw-footed krater vases and a flower-pot and stand, the vases each painted on the front with a tight bouquet, the back and lower portion gilt with foliate scrolls and pendant husk garlands, the flower-pot and stand with dolphin-mask handles, painted with a band of flowers between bands of gilt trailing foliage, the stand raised three gilt paw feet
5¾ in. (14.7 cm.) high, the flower-pot and stand; 5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) high, the pair of vases (4)
