Provenance: Caresse Crosby (gilt morocco 'Crosby Cross' bookplate inside upper wrapper)--James Cummins, Bookseller, New York (loosely-inserted bookseller's description).
FIRST EDITION, ONE OF 500 COPIES ON NAVARRE. FROM CARESSE CROSBY'S LIBRARY. This copy is printed on Navarre, watermarked 'PAPETERIES LAFUMA', but is not numbered on the colophon (see lot 680 for discrepancies in the limitation).
