Modern reddish-brown half morocco (joints and spine lightly rubbed). Provenance: Job Loudey (inscription on B1r: "Job Loudey's Book Hampstead Norris Berks[hire] 1844 exceptionally rare if not unique" with further ownership inscription on L1v; his note? on flyleaf); William Augustus White, 1843-1927 (pencil signature on flyleaf).
Second edition, title imprint properly centered and reading "Temple barre [no stop] 1636." The first edition was published in 1606. This comedy of humours has been attributed to George Chapman but the question is still unsettled. Greg 228b; STC 12051.
