Modelled with Napoleon III standing to the left in full military uniform clasping hands with Albert who stands similarly dressed in blue uniform and cocked hat, above them two iron-red and blue flags fly, between them a grey brick wall with a pile of cannon shells at the base, titled in raised purple script, on a rectangular base (slight glaze flaking)
The first 13½ in. (34.2 cm.) high, the second 11¾ in. (29.7 cm.) high
