The following wines have been recently removed from an excellent purpose built cellar in northern Spain. They were purchased either directly from the Bodegas or from local respected wine merchants by the current owner's father over many years. This is the first time since 1998 that such a complete range of rare Rioja from a private collection has appeared at auction in the UK. The tasting notes have been prepared in advance of the sale but interested bidders should make suitable allowances for possible bottle variation. A comprehensive range of samples will be available at the pre-sale tasting. All wines have been checked and packed by Christie's staff and are packed in Christie's cartons.
