Th e ivory field with delicate palmette and leafy vine around large light brick-red medallion with palmette pendants containing similar design, indigo arabesque spandrels, in an indigo border of palmettes and stylised arabesques between floral and barber-pole stripes, slight localized wear, minute loss at each end (secured), reweave in one corner, very small repair at one side
