According to Amy Conger, "Weston included this picture in several important places that he had control over. He selected it for the Morgan Camera Shop retrospective of 198 of his photographs, for the Maitland donation of almost one hundred of his prints to the L.A. County Museum, and for the book on his nude work that Nancy Newhall was writing. He also sent it to U.S. Camera and stated that the technical data was the same as that for the landscape 'Corral, Pismo Beach'." (Conger, fig. 889/1935)
