Boldly enamelled and gilt with a parrot with outstretched wings on a perch beside a dish of fruit and a grisaille Pekinese dog below, all within a rococo scroll band at the border, saucer cracked and chip restored, cover rim chip restored

See Howard and Ayers, China for the West, London and New York, 1978, vol. I, pp. 295-6 for a discussion on this design and the possibility of it being the work from the studio of Cornelis Pronk. The authors suggest that an alternative theory is that the design was inspired by Meissen porcelain.
