The ewer of amphora form, on circular foot, the foot and lower body chased with stiff-leaf calyx, the body with stiff-leaf border, and chased with laurel bands, with upswept, leaf-clad handle, the oval basin with conforming laurel band and with stiff-leaf border, marked on and under foot, neck and shoulder of ewer, on border and under foot of basin
The ewer 10½in. (26.6cm.) high; the basin 13 1/8in. (34cm.) long; 51oz. 10dwt. (1612gr.) (2)
