The funnel bowl engraved with a medallion depicting a preacherman in a pulpit, underneath the inscription CORDE PRUDENS ORE STUDENS., the reverse with a medallion depicting a man seated under a palm tree, underneath the incription SUB HAC PALMA QVIES ALMA., the oblique twisted stem with two spiralling red threads, the domed foot folded and engraved with a continuous branch
