A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Manjushree, 17th/18th century
standing on a lotus base, his hands in vitarka mudra holding lotus stalks with full blossoms supporting his attributes of the sword and book of wisdom, wearing celestial scarf, elaborate jewellery and dhoti with foliate borders -- 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high.
