A Nepalese wood panel, 17th/18th century
deeply carved with three recessed niches containing gilt bronze bodhisattvas amidst scrolling foliage, all within flamiform borders, the reverse lacquered, wood stand; and a hexagonal wood butter maker with loop handle, carved with bands of buddhistic emblems, birds and animals, the panel -- 15in. (38.1cm.) wide. (2)
