A CORINTHIAN TYPE BRONZE HELMET AND GREEK BRONZE CUIRASS

The domed helmet with short flaring neck-guard, pierced with multiple holes around helmet perimeter, repaired and nose-guard restored, late 7th Century B.C., 8 3/8 in. (21.7 cm.) high; the muscled cuirass with breastplate naturalistically modelled, navel indicated, circular plates over nipples, both breast and backplates with traces of hinge fastenings and attachment rings, restored, circa 5th-4th Century B.C., 19½ in. (49.5 cm.) high max.; and a fragmentary bronze hinged armour plate, 9 in. (22.8 cm.) wide (4)
