A GROUP OF GREEK BRONZE ARMOUR
CIRCA 5TH-4TH CENTURY B.C.
Comprising a Phrygian type bronze helmet with high frontally curving peak, carinated lip above the gently flaring rim and neck guard, 14 in. (26 cm.) high; a muscled cuirass, the breast and backplate remain hinged together at each side, nipples and navel indicated, attachment rings beside hinges and on a shoulder, 20¼ in. (51.4 cm.) high; and a pair of full length greaves with modelled knees, 16 1/8 in. (41 cm.) high, all restored (4)
