The lid with a figure of a seated warrior, wearing pilos helmet and cloak, carrying short sword in scabbard, his large shield in front, scrolls around the perimeter, details in added white and yellow, repaired
2¾ in. (7 cm.) high; 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) diam.
