A LATE HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA BULL'S HEAD LAMP-FILLER
CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C.
The hollow moulded head wearing applied wreath across its forehead, the circular spout with perforations, traces of dark orange slip; and a Western Asiatic miniature bronze bull with large horns, depicted standing with vertical perforation through body, 8th-7th Century B.C.
4 in. (10.2 cm.) and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) long respectively (2)

English private collection; acquired in 1974 and 1973 respectively.
