TWO JADEITE BUDAI BUDDHA CARVINGS
Both of thick materials, the first of good translucency and intense celadon colour with honey yellow patches and splashes, carved as a seated smiling buddha with an ample belly, his left hand resting on his knee and holding a rosary, surrounded by little boys; with one boy holding an ingot and another boy with his hands in a blessing gesture; and the second, a similar carving of icy near colourless material, 2.8 and 2.6 cm. high
