Each set with a pear-shaped diamond weighing 6.28 and 6.54 carats, to a circular-cut diamond surmount, suspended from a pear-shaped diamond top weighing 1.02 and 1.19 carats, mounted in platinum

With four reports dated from 25 September 2001 to 11 June 2003 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that all the diamond are D colour, internally flawless clarity

With two reports dated 12 February 2004 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 6.28 and 6.54 carat diamonds are D colour, internally flawless clarity. Also accompanied by two appendixes stating that these two diamonds possess a purity of colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of natural colour type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this type and size, exhibiting a superior quality, are very rare. Such diamonds have been unearthed from only a limited number of sources around the world (e.g. South Africa, Brazil, and India).
