A JADEITE MELON PENDANT
The thick, glass-like material, suffused with bright emerald green splashes and streaks to a paler ground, carved as a melon with leafy stem and trailing tendril, with a rat rested at the top, surmounted by two pink tourmaline discs and a green jadeite bead of good translucency, attached to a maroon and black braided silk cord, melon approximately 41.78 x 18.89 x 15.77 mm.
With certificate no. JC27137 dated 25 February 2004 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the melon is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
