The circular case with pavé-set old-cut diamond hinged cover, reversing to reveal a watch with nickel finished jewelled lever movement, the cream enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gilt foliate hands, subsidiary seconds, to the old-cut diamond bezel and trefoiled loop, suspended from a detachable old-cut diamond ribbon top, mounted in gold and silver, case with inscription reading "Jays 142 & 144 Oxford St. London Swiss made", circa 1890, 6.3 cm. high
