The flat top of the cover finely carved with a portly figure of an immortal carrying a bundle on a stick slung over his left shoulder, standing in the shade of a pine tree, all against a cell-pattern diaper ground, the sides of the box and cover with composite floral scrolls, the base and interior covered in black lacquer
