The rectangular brèche violette marble top with canted front corners, above a conforming laurel-decorated frieze, over two long drawers painted sans traverse and en grisaille, depicting the Triumph of Venus, the sides with similar panels depicting putti around a pyre, the reverse with plain painted panels, on squared tapering straight legs painted with caducei
