Psuedo marks
of oval form with crimped edge, engraved with a depiction of a maritime battle, the centre embossed with a portrait bust (possibly John Churchill, later Ist Duke of Marlborough), with the garter motto above and battle standards on either side, one engraved BATAILLE DE FRIDELINCHEN 14. Octobre, 1702, with two dolphin side handles, 10¾in. (27.5cm.), 15.50oz.
