With gilt-finished duplex movement highly engraved with floral motifs throughout, bi-metallic compensation balance, glazed dust cover, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, centre seconds, the reverse painted with a polychrome enamel scene depicting a man on horseback, poised with spear in hand, galloping behind a fleeing tiger, a snake with darting forked tongue coiled around a branch in the foreground, the circular case with bezels, pendant and bow set with split seed pearls, movement signed, movement also signed with the Chinese characters for Bovet
