This watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch and its subsequent sale on 8 April 1959.

Reference 2526 was Launched in 1953 and it is thought that only 580 examples were made, the majority of which are in yellow gold. The present example features luminous baton numerals, which is very rare for the reference 2526.
