IRAN, 13TH CENTURY
Each originally probably from the border of a panel or architectural detail, moulded on a sharply concave band with a strong band of Persian naskh, the flat outer border with interlaced arabesques, one intact with small retouched chips, one with clean break and similar retouching, the third with central area of restoration

Lot Essay

The inscriptions demonstrate that these tiles were made for a secular setting. They read:
