A QAJAR ENGRAVED BRASS POCKET SUNDIAL
IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Comprising a circular hinged case engraved with radiating segments inscribed with the names of various towns and cities, the sides with a similarly written continuous inscription, opening to reveal the sundial with folding arm set on an openwork quatrefoil within a graduated wheel
