With gently curving watered steel single edged blade damascened in gold on each side with an inscription along the spine together with inscription and floral cartouches at forte, the cast silver-gilt quillons engraved with flowering vine, the face with an applied openwork panel of inset stones, the pale green nephrite jade grips engraved with bands of elegant meandering arabesques, the shagreen covered wooden sheath with silver locket, suspension loops and chape, each decorated similarly to the quillons, splits to shagreen
overall 34¼in. (87.2cm.) long
