From a larger composition, together with a terracotta plinth filed with scrolling yellow arabesques below the base of a similarly coloured vase, all on a green ground with scrolling yellow tendrils terminating in leaves intertwined with white arabesques, slight chipping to edges

Five similar tiles and tile fragments were recently on the London market (Ray, Simon: Indian and Islamic Works of Art, London, 2002,, nos.24-27, pp.38-45). The copious catalogue entries there give many references to publications of these rare tiles.
