CENTRAL IRAN, EARLY 13TH CENTURY
The bright opaque turquoise ground moulded with a strong cobalt-blue thuluth inscription, the upper register with crisply moulded reciprocal palmettes and trefoils, plain band below, incomplete to one side, retouched chips on other side, backed on board
