Details
THE FOLLOWING LOTS WERE SHIPPED DIRECLTY FROM DE VOGUE. INCLUDING A RARE CASE OF MAGNUMS AS WELL AS MULTIPLE VERTICAL LOTS.

The history of this great Burgundy Domaine stems from 1450, and it has been in the same family for 19 generations. The Domaine owns 7/10 of the appellation Musigny, with 1/5 of Bonnes Mares.

Musigny Vieilles Vignes Comte Georges de Vogüe is a wine of legendary delicacy, complexity and beauty, with Bonnes-Mares being usually more structured, often requiring even more years to reach its peak.

The present head of the family is Elisabeth, Baroness de Ladoucette, the only daughter of the late Comte George de Vogüe, who died in 1987 after running the estate for over 50 years. A dynamic team then took over the management, consisting of vineyard-manager Eric Bourgogne, cellar-master Francois Millet and sales director Jean-Luc Pépin.

We will be greatly honoured by the presence of Jean-Luc Pépin on 12 April to host a Masterclass, 'Vertical of the Domaine's Famed Musigny bottling. (See page 67 for further details).
